This will be a flatish 27.5m circular ride from / to Servewell cafe - visiting the graves of:

  • Ebenezer Cobb Morley - the largely forgotten, Founding Father of the Football Association.
  • Sir Richard Francis Burton - the Arabian Knight, buried with his wife in a Stone Bedouin tent, whose interior we are able to view.
  • Howard Carter - the world famous Egyptologist whose most famous discovery was the tomb of Tutankhamun.
  • General Erich von Klinkerhoffen, of the Russian front and Nouvion fame.
  • Bruce Ismay - Chairman and Managing Director of the White Star Line. In 1912, he came to international attention as the highest-ranking White Star official to survive the sinking of the company's new flagship RMS Titanic, for which he was subject to severe criticism.

We will end the ride with a drink at the Angel public house by the thames in Rotherhithe.

Please note on this ride there will be a small amount off road.
