- Ebenezer Cobb Morley - the largely forgotten, Founding Father of the Football Association.
- Sir Richard Francis Burton - the Arabian Knight, buried with his wife in a Stone Bedouin tent, whose interior we are able to view.
- Howard Carter - the world famous Egyptologist whose most famous discovery was the tomb of Tutankhamun.
- General Erich von Klinkerhoffen, of the Russian front and Nouvion fame.
