Through the Essex Countryside...
Meet outside Upminster Station (trains run regularly from London Fenchurch St) where we go from the edge of London into Essex, going through the villages of Bulphan and Orsett where we can have a refreshment stop at the award winning pub in Orsett 'The Whitmore Arms' we then head on through the village of Horndon and onto to Thurrock's well known Hardie Park Cycle Cafe where we can eat (quite an extensive menu available) or have a hot or cold drink.
A mini tour of the cycle hub and what goes on there as well as posing for a photo for their cycle club hall of fame.
We can then return to Upminster station.
For those that want a shorter ride there's a possibility of catching the train from Stanford-le-Hope to Fenchurch St.
Complete round trip around 30 miles.
